About Matt Borkowski


Matt started his real estate career, not in residential real estate, but rather in residential mortgage banking in 1997.  It took 3 years to realize his skills were better suited for residential real estate working directly with consumers looking to buy and sell residential properties. 

From 2001 through 2015 that is exactly what he did, very similar to other residential realtors.  But in 2015, Matt started working in the Probate space along side probate attorneys and fiduciaries in charge of the sale of the estates' property.  

In short order it became clear to Matt that properties sold out of probate are substantially different than the typical real estate sale.  As it turned out, most of these properties are in dated or worse condition.  He real then realized the market was not filling this gap with options for the estate.  Instead of catering to this seriously underserved group of people in desperate need  of 
viable  options, it was more of the same:  a straight realtors sale offered to the marketplace in "as-is" condition or investor sale. 

At that moment Matt began to build competing, better services; SmartReface and 30 Cash Offers, which are now his signature options offered to the marketplace.
